Richard Strasburger
Richard has been a part of our team for more than 20 years and ensures that our processes are designed to help our clients meet their goals.
After graduating from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in business, he worked for several years in the real estate development industry. Prior to joining our team as a registered representative in 1998, he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina and pursued a career as a manufacturing manager at MEMC Electronic Materials Company in Spartanburg. Richard earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2012.
Richard is a past member on the board of directors for the United Way of the Piedmont, the Spartanburg Science Center, and the Palmetto Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is also the past president of the Master Gardeners Association of the Piedmont and an elder at First Presbyterian Church.
Richard and his wife, Norwood, live in Spartanburg. They have two adult children, Lee and Andrew, and one grandson. When not working with clients, Richard enjoys working out, water and snow skiing, boating, fishing and gardening.
