Tim Portelance
Tim has a keen understanding of business, law, management, and finance due to his vast experience in the financial industry. He joined our team in 2019 after spending 27 years in a variety of roles with Edward Jones. While at Edward Jones Tim was a financial advisor, regional leader, general partner, as well as a limited partner. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a professional in the field and has built his positive reputation based on trust.
Tim’s clients know him for his attentiveness, professionalism, and trusted guidance. He is a fantastic listener and always keeps the best interest of his clients at heart. Since beginning his career, Tim has been motivated by helping others work toward and reach their goals. Through the planning process, he clearly breaks down complexities, allowing clients to craft their vision of a successful retirement. Tim is energized working through the financial planning and goal setting process because of the lasting effect they have on his client’s futures.
Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law.

I am incredibly lucky to not only enjoy my career, but I also have a fantastic support system in my family; my wife, Wendy, and our four children, Lane, Austin, Reagan, and Lauren. Although our children are grown, we are fortunate to have them close by. We enjoy keeping active and can be found at the lake when the weather is nice. Believe it or not, I actually like yard work and you can often find me making improvements to our lawn and simply enjoying the time outdoors.
