Andrew C. Gregory
Managing Director, Financial Advisor

Every company needs someone to tell their “story”. Andrew shares our story with advisors across the country nearly every day. In leading our recruiting efforts, Andrew is constantly searching for first class advisors looking for the perfect home for the next chapter of their career. He also helps ensure that all our advisors experience the full benefits of being affiliated with Freedom Street Partners. As a Financial Advisor since 2006, Andrew has expertise in comprehensive financial planning services to help clients thoughtfully pursue their goals. He also helps to ensure we deliver on first-class service that fosters lasting relationships with the families and individuals we serve.

Formerly a teacher, Andrew sought a career in financial services that would enable him to continue his practice of helping and guiding others. He aims to not only provide sound advice to help clients but for them to also understand why that advice is important.

Before joining our team, Andrew was a financial advisor with Edward Jones. While there, he also served as a recruiting leader, mentor, and coach for his team members. Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport, and wellness management from Christopher Newport University.

Andrew C. Gregory

My mother taught me: surround yourself with good people and good things will happen – and so far that’s proven true. My love of educating and helping others has always been at the forefront of my professional life, both as a teacher and later as a financial advisor.

My wife, Kimberly, and I – along with our kids, Gavin and Riley – are proud residents of Smithfield and I had the pleasure of founding our town’s American Legion Baseball Program. I love the sport and if I could do anything else, I’d be a college baseball coach.

When I’m not working, I enjoy staying active in my community and have served as vice mayor of Smithfield since 2008. I’m also the board president of Voices for Kids CASA, a nonprofit group benefitting abused and neglected children, a lifetime member of Riverview United Methodist Church and a board member of Smithfield Virginia Events.

There are a few things people might not know about me. For one, I was born two months premature and weighed just 4 pounds, 11 ounces. Also, on my bucket list is to learn how to fly a plane. Lastly, one thing I can’t live without? Peanut butter, no question about it.
